Need help choosing a tablet

I'm looking to get an Android-based tablet and I have no idea what's good. I've heard a lot of talk about the Google Nexus and Samsung Galaxy Note tablets, but I'm unsure what would fit my needs. I'm leaning towards a bigger screen. I'm not really a fan of the stylus pen. My price range is probably between $200 - $500. I would it only use it on Wi-Fi. And I would mainly use it to read books and watch movies. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

To be honest with you based on the criteria you gave in your post which was great in helping you this is what I would do since you are on the forum.
Go and visit many or all of our forums on tablets and read what others are saying and talking about what they like and don't like.

Read reviews on tablets on our blog side. read outside reviews as well and go to some of the stores like Bestbuy where you can actually get your hands on them and see what YOU like and what works best for you.

Then come back and let us know what you bought and become active in the forums.
