I am having trouble with receiving txts. I seem to be able to send them but can't receive them. I have a warning saying that the text memory is full. There is also a message saying the phone storage space is full. ????

I am unable to receive texts right now. I have cleared out the sms messages and rebooted and still I have that little box at the top. :(

Sounds like this is a problem with the phone. Call your provider and ask their advice. This isn't a common problem, so you might need to switch the phone out or reboot to factory settings.

what phone do you have, and how much memory does it say you have left over in the storage settings. you may need to delete some apps that you dont really use/want anymore

go to Menu>settings>applications

Sort by size and try clearing caches for large apps. The should solve the memory problem. Do the same to the text application and see if that helps.

+1 to the last three posts. For some reason, when you run low on space, Android decides to stop receiving texts. Makes sense, since they take up space, but unfortunately these texts just disappear into thin air.
