Nexus 7 (old) Repair or Replace?
I had my Nexus 7 in a case. It was sitting in a bag for a while because I went away on a cruise and could not use it due to the lack of internet connection. I took it out of the bag and discovered some cracks on the screen. I sent it in to Asus and even though I did NOTHING to cause the damage to the screen, they want to charge me for a screen replacement. They're asking for $160. I'm not so sure what to do. $160 doesn't seem worth it especially because I could pay about $50 more to just buy a new tablet. What do you think I should do? Spend the $160 on a screen replacement or have them send it back as is and get a new one.
If I did get a new one, which one should I get? I was thinking either between the new Nexus 7 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The note is a little more expensive but I do also have an S3 and I think it would be nice to have the full Samsung exo system.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Re: Nexus 7 (old) Repair or Replace?
I think I might just go get a brand new Nexus 7 32gb and call it good.
