I have 4.1.2 OS. It has gotten very sluggish and slow and so I do all the obvious (hold the home button and close applications, open Task Manager and clear memory, etc. - which BTW usually gets me to anywhere from 550-900 MB which seems like a lot). I've also turned off the multi-window option without much of a result.
Recently I went to Application Manager, and there are supposedly 50 applications currently running (??? - but explains why so much memory is burned up) - some have 2 instances, others are ones I have not used in months, etc. But they're eating up memory and I don't know why they are there. How can I remove them from running every time I start the phone?
