Disabling Tap-to-Call in People/Contacts List?

Hi, Everyone,

Absolutely loving my EVO on week 3 of BlackBerry-free happiness. :)

One question I can't quite figure out, though, which seems to happen to my wife on her EVO much more than for me: is there a way to prevent Android phones from automatically calling a contact when that person's name is accidentally tapped when scrolling down the contacts/people listing?

Seems like a basic setting, but I don't seem to be able to find any way to change it on Sprint-original Froyo on the EVO 4G. Again, not a big deal for me, but it does seem like a setting that would be quite useful.

Thanks in advance for any info!

I just set the default to view the contact. That way if you DO tap one of the contacts, it opens the contact card instead of calling the number.
