Tablet has two usb ports

My 9.7 inch android 4.0 tablet has two usb port. One marked with a usb icon, and one marked Host. What's the difference?

I think you'd use Host for connecting USB drives/sticks without needing a USB OTG cable.

What size have the ports, USB or microUSB?

Both are micro usb ports

Well, the same ... Host means the tablet acts as host for USB devices like thumb drives.
The other port should have the standard client mode for connecting to PC and for charging (if the tablet hasn't a seperate socket for charging).
