S3 for damaged S4 trade

Hello! This is my first post on this forum.
I have a galaxy s3 (white 16gb verizon) with a lifeproof fr? case. My friend has a galaxy s4 (black 16gb verizon). He really likes my lifeproof case so he offered to trade phones. His s4 has a crack running from the far left sensor to about 1/4 of the way from the bottom. It's not deep and can only be lightly seen while the screen is on. I will see if I can get a picture of it in a few days. My phone is in very good condition.

Now the question is, would you do this trade? Why?
Also, can we just swap SIM cards if we are both on verizon?

You should have no issues with the service working between devices. As for whether the value of the trade is right, not sure we can answer that for you. I personally wouldn't make the trade for something damaged, but if you see it and it doesn't bug you then have at it
