I have an LG Optimus Slider, and I installed a new app today that is still in beta. I started getting all sorts of "low on space" messages, and my phone shut off a few times. The last time, when I turned it back on it was stuck in a boot loop. The only way to get out of it is to remove the battery.
After checking some sites online, I was able to bring up the recovery screen by pressing the power button and the volume button. I don't want to wipe it though, because I don't want to lose my photos. I should have already backed everything up, I know. I won't make that mistake again.
Is there some way of booting up into a Safe Mode and uninstalling that evil app?
