    Default Spammed by Motorola Services

I just got a notification alert that the new Droid Zap app is available (despite being on a Bionic and that phone not listed in the compatible devices) and it came from the Motorola Services app. The option to disable notifications is disabled, as well as the option to disable the app all together. I'm rooted, so could use something like Titanium to force freeze it.

Question is, can this be safely frozen without negatively affecting the phone? It's a pretty small app at 140KB, so I'm wondering if this is just a spamming app from Motorola or does it serve a meaningful purpose.

That's what's nice about Titanium. Freeze the app. If there are negative consequences, unfreeze it.
