no internet connection !!!!!!!!!

i have a asus TF300t transformer pad for 1 year, all has been good up to now, we were experiencing internet problems at home, but has since been fixed, rooter working well, wifi great , every device in house working apart fro my tablet, it has full wifi support but will not connect me to the internet , i tried the cold shutdown but that did not work, it keeps saying authentication error, does anyone else have this issue, or do i have a malfunction and take it to get fixed.

First, "forget" that connection, then create it again.

If you're using WPA or WPA2 authentication it should work. Also, make sure you're connecting to YOUR wifi signal, not a neighbor's signal with the same name.

Reset the router and device. Try reconnecting and see what happens.
