In APP purchase block not working

I need a little help before my eight year old bankrupts me. I enabled password protection for APP purchases through Google Play, but when an APP is launched my child can still order items within the game. How do I turn off IN-APP purchases? I've searched everywhere, but can only find ways to password protect Google Play first time APP purchasing. Any help would be appreciated. I have an Avatar Sirius with Android 4.1.1 JellyBean. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums.
The only thing I can think of is to remove your credit card from Google Wallet.

Yup, this is what I had to do. It's a pain in the **** entering and deleting CC info.Thanks for the comment.
