Default Help with Galaxy SII - Powers on, senses my touch, but no graphics. HELP

So I tried to fix this galaxy t989 s2, broken lens. I watched several videos on youtube, seemed fairly easy. All seemed to go well. Phone looks brand new, and turns on, but I get a blue flash along the left side of the screen, and that's about it. It can sense my touch on the screen, as I hear it working as usual, but I've got a black screen, no graphics.

    Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help, appreciated.

Sounds like the screen is broken. Take it to a shop and get it repaired.

Welcome to Android Central! And agree with above--replace the screen.

Thanks for the help. Any idea how much something like that would cost?

Maybe $100 - $200? I can't be too sure. Contact your nearest repair shop.

Wow, that sucks!! Worked fine before I took the broken screen off, and I was gentle as can be doing it. Wonder what went wrong

Did you replace the glass or the screen as well? Sounds like either a connection is the issue or a bad screen. Either way you'll need to send for repair or try and troubleshoot yourself. Let us know how it goes.

I just replaced the broken glass. I was seriously delicate in doing so, taking my time as not damage anything else. I was more gentle and taking more time than the guys I seen on youtube doing doing it with success. Hmmmmm, I'll take it to a pro, and let y'all know what happened.

    Thanks again,
