    Default Contact Manager required

    Hi all,

Im after a decent contact manager or database app.
I am a scout leader and need to keep all the scouts information in one place and be able to group email, custom fields etc.

Any help on good apps that will do this would be great, im using the default contacts app but its a bit restricted.

    Thanks,

    Kev...

    Hi Darth,

Yes im using groups, but I need some custom fields for personal info etc, and it seems very cluttered with fields I dont want to see.

I have a lot of faith in android, im a fresh convert from apple (sorry to swear in forum).

Would inputing the data into a spreadsheet be out of the question? If not, Google Drive allows you to create a spreadsheet that sync's to other devices and can be shared with people you want to access the data. You can also create custom fields and inputing the data as necessary and save the file for offline use. Just a thought maybe worth exploring?

You are very correct on that statement. The fields are cluttered, but i don't concern myself with that personally because i don't have 100 billion contacts like you (seriously) do. ( No sarcasm there). I would try the spreadsheet idea, or if all else fails, create a google drive sheet that has acess set to everyone. Then you could send the url to people who need to update their contact info.

By the way, the faith thing is my signature.
