    Welcome to the forums.
Samsung has a Galaxy Player (I don't think I have the name quite right) that is an MP3 player and runs the Android OS.
Do you have an old Android device that you aren't using?

I picked up a Nexus 5 to use as a music player. Any full-price phone would work (no contract)...

Get a good condition working Samsung Captivate by ATT which can go as low as $60, install Voodoo Sound for it, enjoy high quality sound and a durable device. If you need space in addition to the internal 16gb, put in a 32gb microSD.

The Samsung Precedent is as low as $30 and change and it'll work too.

There isn't many dedicated MP3 playing devices like the iPod, but low cost phones work just as well.
I'd personally get the Moto G from Verizon. Only $99 off-contract and it is a great performing phone, unlike the majority of the other "low-end" phones that Android offers. Also has great battery life and will receive software support for longer than the other alternatives
