Battery Doctor Task Killer
I've recently read a lot of articles stating that killing apps in Android is bad, because the Android OS handles this task automatically. This supposedly uses more battery, because Androis has to use power in opening that app from scratch each time.
I've thus decided not to kill apps manucally. I only have one question, is the "Task Killer" from Battery Doctor actually killing the apps? They still appear in the recently used apps after I've pressed the Task Killer widget.
I am running 4.4.2 on Nexus 5 btw.
Thanks in advance!!

You can check if they're still running by going to Settings > Apps and then switching to the Running tab.
