    Default always on voice command

Hi, currently have a Galaxy Note bought used about a year ago and it's flaking out, time to get a new phone. My options on ATT next are Lg G2, Galaxy S3/S4, HTC one, Lg optimus pro g, moto X, Note 3. I have been researching up the wazoo about always on voice like the moto x has. It's a feature I'm really wanting but from what I'm seeing the moto x and lg optimus pro g are the only phones that have that? Or will the kitkat update give me that capability on other phones? Or is there an app that I possibly could use with any phone to access that or phone that a voice command will "wake up"? Sorry for the ignorance but appreciate the advice. I've enjoyed my note but I wouldn't mind going a little smaller.

    Thanks again!

The Note 3, for one, will "wake up" on a phrase like "Hey, Galaxy".

You can try the app Open Mic+.
