Rom question .

As of yet I have not heard of any roms compatible to flash for the rooted Kyocera hydro C5170.
Therefore having to keep stock rom could you still tweak it a little such as changing the fonts or theme without any harm to the stock rom. If anyone is familiar with this specific device I would highly appreciate your help. Thanks !

In general, changing the fonts shouldn't be all that bad. But it may be possible that it might have some negative effects. Are you rooted?

Yes I'm rooted. Thanks for the reply. Not sure I'm gonna attempt it.
Figure any attempt to tweak the stock rom may screw it up.
As I had said there's no other roms yet for this device.

Since you are rooted, a better option may be Xposed framework.

Fonts, themes and launchers aren't tweaking the ROM, they're things the ROM is written to allow.

When you rooted were you able to install a custom recovery, such as cwm or TWRP? If so, be sure to backup the current ROM before you start playing with the existing one. This way you can restore the working ROM if you have problems with the phone after installing a mod or tweak.

Yes I backed up everything ! Since I know there's no ROMS for my device I seen some people with same device who had tweaked somethings and suddenly was either bricked or experienced problems. So before I attempt any tweaks I try being cautious.
