Root: Is it Possible to not Make a New Instance of Storage?
As of now, my Internal Storage on my S3 follows a path similar to this in order to get to the files I had before just flashing a new ROM:
Galaxy S3 > Internal Storage > 0 > 0 > [Folder with my stuff]
Is it possible to NOT create a new "0" folder every time I clean-flash a ROM? This results in having multiple instances of where Screenshots, Pictures, ROM Backups, and other files/backups I deem important are saved.
Having to transfer files manually is a huge time sink (literally hours), and I seriously cannot stand when my files are so cluttered and folders are redundant and more deep and than necessary.
The only thing that I can think of in order to make the process less painful is to compress the old instance of the folder, move it up one level, and then uncompress the files - leaving one "0" again - but I can't figure out how to do this within the phone.
