Unhappy Insufficient Storage Available on new Xperia Z1

    Hey guys,
I was wandering if anyone could help me with my problem,
When ever I try to install or update an app on my Z1, it keeps giving me an error say that it has "insufficient storage available" even though i still have 6 GBs left,
    can someone please help me

P.S I've tried clearing out my cache files but that doesn't seem to work as well.

Interesting. Where have you wandered to before you came here?

Have you tried cleaning caches with the free app 'AppMgr III'?

Welcome to Android Central! It would help if you could post screenshots of your Settings/Storage screen. Let us know if you need instructions on how to do so.

See if you can boot into Recovery Mode following these instructions: How to Boot Into Sony Xperia Z1 Recovery Mode. Then see if there is an option to wipe cache partition, which won't erase any personal data.

Are you rooted or unrooted? And are you running any kind of backup app like Titanium?
