    Default deleting auto-backed up photos

How do I delete photos already backed up (and/or prevent them appearing on the screen under "auto backup"?

    Thanks for any help!

    Peter

    PS I'm on a Nexus 7, with 4.4.2.

If they were auto backed up and appear on the screen anyway you can delete the originals and reclaim the storage space for new photos.

I can certainly delete the original, but the baked up version stays on the screen, without a delete option...

    That's the problem!

    TBH I don't know because I don't use Google+(' photo backup feature).
I use Dropbox for auto backup of photos (and then delete the originals to reclaim the storage space*). I can delete any photo I want from Dropbox.

*That way I have virtually limitless storage space for photos on my phone.

So it's Google+ that's causing the problem? Anyone know how how to delete photos already backed up, to prevent them appearing on the screen?
