Default How can I save voicemail from my Galaxy S3 (as an .mp3)?

Please excuse me if this may sound like a naive question but does anyone know how I can save my voicemail off my S3 as an mp3 file (or any other format that will play on computer) so I can send it to another person? This is my first android so I'm not sure if there is a feature I'm missing? Is there an app or setting or something else? Also, I don't know if this matters but I'm not using visual voicemail or anything -- just dial-in voicemail.

A little urgent. Thanks in advance for any help!

Thank you so much for the reply!!! However I don't think I have an auxiliary cable. There's no way to do it with the charging cable? Also, I tried the speakerphone trick and it didn't work. The quality was awful and practically inaudible.

I googled "save voicemails" and found a few sites like Save Voicemail Messages Permanently with Voicemails Forever but they charge. I don't mind paying but do you have any idea if it works with an S3??

Sorry again for being so confused. I'm not exactly tech savvy

Auxiliary cables are really cheap. Just go to your local Target or Walmart. They're the same cable people use to hook up their iPods to an Auxiliary speaker jack.

Thanks for your help BDiddy! I got it resolved using that voicemails forever service but I appreciate the help. Next time I might try what you recommended but I just get intimidated with anything too technical and it was a voicemail from my son so I didn't want to risk losing it.

    Thanks again!!

(by the way great photo -- I LOVE MST3k!!!)

Try a call recorder from app store...
One option is 'Call recorder' but there are many others to choose from!
    They're free by the way....

I have a galaxy s4 - no need to purchase ANYTHING
1 - go to the voicemail icon, find the voicemail you want to save, click menu then select archive the message
(if it is not in side swipe format, Then long press on the message and select what looks like a memory card at the bottom)
(the message is now stored in the file folder of the phone itself)\
2 - transfer to memory card or to computer from the phone - VIA COPY & PASTE (it will be an .amr file)
3 - play .amr file using realcloud, or download FREE .amr to .mp3 converter
4 - use the converter to convert .amr to .mp3
