Could be a rogue app. Try to clear cache, it may help. You can also install gsam to see what is using your battery


As a last resort you can do a factory data reset

Definitely something is wrong. My Samsung Galaxy victory is similar in spec and I don't have those problems.

Also if you have an sd card installed, try to remove it to see if it makes a difference. I had a corrupt file on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and it ran slow and really lagged. Deleted the file and everything was back to normal.

Here's a video specific to the Ace 3. To wipe the cache partition, use the hardware button method shown in the second half of the video to boot into Recovery Mode. Then MAKE SURE TO SELECT "WIPE CACHE PARTITION," and NOT "wipe data/factory reset."
