    Question Remove volume and snapshot icons

    Hello, i just purshased my first android tablet (never had android before) and i wonder if someone can tell me how to remove the volume up and down icons from that black bottom bar (where are the home button, back...etc) because i have phisical key to do that job. Another icon that i want to remove is the snaphot. I searched here on forum but didn't find anything. Thank

    What tablet do you have specifically? Neither of those buttons is a standard Android button, but a manufacturer add on. So determining how (and if) they can be removed will require knowing what make/model your tablet is.

    It tells me a couple things, mostly that you probably aren't going to be able to turn them off. Off brand tablets are extremely difficult to find information on, so even if the setting to turn them off exists, it will be next to impossible to figure out without the tablet in front of me.

    Welcome to Android and to the forums!

    Yes, without having the same tablet is difficult to say for sure.

    However, you said icons, did you mean actual icons on the screen?

    If so, you can long press for a second on the icon and you'll see an option on top of the screen to remove that icon from there.

    Try it and let us know if that worked for you.

    Hello, no, i mean icons in the bottom bar. I will try to find info in xda. Thanks anyway guys
