I would like to purchase a Galaxy S3, root and install cyanogenmod's latest stable release for development purposes. I made the mistake of purchasing an Verizon S3 SCH-i535 running 4.3, I soon discovered how crippling this setup is. If I could get any S3 running Android 4.1 or above (minus 4.3) what would be my best option?

    Thanks in advance

Its not honestly as difficult as it sounds. Simply root the device and then you have to unlock the boot loader. Simply follow the steps here XDA-Developers and you should be set to go. Then you can pick your favorite rom manager and flash any rom you wish.
