Samsung Galaxy S3 battery problem
My Galaxy S3 (have had it 15 months) was playing up, when about 50-60% battery remaining the screen would go fuzzy and flicker then the phone would reboot and come back with between 1-8% battery left then switch off pretty quick.
Did all the usual checks for what might be draining it but to no avail.
Found this on another thread and it seems to have fixed the problem it may work on other Samsung or Galaxy models and does not lose you any information. It was recommended by the Samsung help-line.
Turn it off.
Leave it 10 seconds
Press and hold the volume up button
Press and hold the Home button
Then press and hold the power button.
When the phone powers on, let go of the power button only.
When you see a screen with "Android system recovery" let go of the other 2 buttons.
Using the volume down button, scroll to "wipe cache partition" then press the power button.
When the menu comes back, press the power button when "reboot system now" is highlighted.
And there you go, everything is still there and my battery doesn't play up any more.......
They say you should do this before you do any Android updates. Let me know if it works for you and what model of phone you did it on.
