How to upload full size VIDEOS to Google+

It's there a way to auto-upload full size videos to Google+ like the photos do?

EVERY single VIDEO the Google+ (Google Photos, whatever its called) app auto-uploads the resolution is changed to either 640x480 or 480x480.

It's there just no way around that?

Really? 157 views and nothing. I understand this is a Google (not just Android) fan site but it's okay to call out Google for their gaffes.

Why does Google purposefully make no mention of video upload size? Or better yet why does Google change my video resolution without it being stated somewhere that video resolution is decreased upon upload?
