G1: Calls not ariving, Keys not working, Phone options missing (flight-mode,...), Pat

Hi all,
Im experiencing some problems with my G1 the second time within 3 months:
- calls are not arriving on the phone, but SMS from my provider - which tell me, there was a call - work
- keys are not working, except menu and hang up
- phone options missing (shutdown long-click menu) - e.g. flight-mode | menu is only showing shutdown
- pattern unlock only appears after boot - but not when I lock my screen and reactivate it - options double+ checked

When the battery is empty and the G1 is shutting down automatically, this issue occurs...
Maybe the shutdown is interrupted, because the battery is too empty.

Does anyone else experience this issues?
Does anyone know, how to fix this?
