Is my account still in existance if I uninstall Whatsapp on my phone?

Uninstall whatsapp

Today I uninstalled whatsapp from my mobile but did not delete my account so my question is.. is my account still existing on my friend's mobiles? And can they still send messages to me if I uninstall it already? I know I won't be notified if they message me on whatsapp but I am just wondering.

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not entirely clear on what you're asking. If you uninstalled WhatsApp from your phone, you won't be able to receive WhatsApp messages on your phone. But if you didn't delete your account, you could always reinstall WhatsApp on your phone, or any other device, log into your account, and start receiving messages again.
