Default Recommend an audio file player app?

Can anyone recommend a simple and free audio player app?

All I want is something that will play audio files and remember where I left off listening in a file, even if I power my phone off.

I'd like it to be free.

I'd also like it to be simple, no play lists, glitz, extra featurs.......just playing files.

    Is there such an animal?

    Thanks

    Steve

I like MortPlayer. Not sure if it will remember where you left off on a track, though. But it's free.

PowerAmp is a good player. It is a paid app ($5), but free for the first week or two.

I've heard that it is not safe to do financial transactions over SMS/smart phones. $5 is reasonable, but I don't want to send vital financial information over my phone.

You can buy a Google Play card at most major retailers i.e. Target, Walmart, (they are predetermined prices; lowest is $10) redeem that, then buy the app.

Costco often has them for a discount!
