Default Is it possible to use the same phone number for multiple sim cards?

So my number is with Verizon, but if I bought another sim card would I be able to use my number for the Verizon and other carrier sim cards?
I'm gonna get flak but I'd rather have Sense over Stock Android for my daily driver.

No, the number is associated with the Sim card, and you're only allowed one per account.
