All my Google Searches show up on my wife's Samsung phone. How do we stop this?

We all have iPhones in the house except for my wife. Whenever a family member uses Google to search, it shows up on my wife's Samsung phone in her search history. This even happens when the kids are away at school. Help

That's probably because you are using the same Google account in both devices in the Search app and Chrome. And at the same time in your settings you've got sync on.

You can sign out or switch sync off..

Check in the Search settings, accounts & privacy. In chrome just go to settings and the account would be shown first thing. Click on it.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and my boyfriend recently bought a Sony Xperia M4. All my searches appear on his phone, whether I do it on my Samsung or my laptop. We use different Google accounts on our phones and don't live together.

Its because the chrome account on the computer is the other persons google account. Look at top of the browser on the right and the three lines click there and go down to settings, at top it says sign in and if it is logged into your wife's account then it will show her email right below there and give the options to "disconnect your google account" and "advanced sync settings", if you click "advanced sync settings" just click the drop box and check "choose what to sync" then you can click which ones you don't want to sync to the account on the phone.

This has been bothering me for a long time, I think I may have finally figured out how to turn this off.
To note, I am signed into a private google account on my android phone and tablet. I am not signed intoa google account on my work laptop, yet all google searches were showing up. I turned off sync on the google accounts, this didn't work.
So today I noticed it happening again.

On phone, in chrome browser, select 3 dots in top right hand corner, select SETTINGS.At top beside your photo, click on where is says SYNC IS (on or off).
Select Google Activity Controls, and turn it off (PAUSE) and untick Include Google browsing history and activity from website apps that use google services.

Not sure how to access this on laptop - possible the same if you are signed into a google account, but I am not and don't want to on work laptop.

I had the same thing ONLY WITH MY MOM YUP EMBARRASSING but it's most likely due to the fact you share an account , all you need to do is take her iPad and go to settings and then Google and delete your account this will only take your Google off her IPad and not have any effect on yours . ..you didn't by any chance get a ",Free IPad " and,give it to her,?

Did you sign in Google on your wife's phone before? I had the same problem with Pinterest account (even I signed in, but I received notifications from the another account), I think it might be some cached data that kept updating even when the accounts were changed.

What ever I search on my phone it shows up on my dad's how do I stop this ( he says that he has a app that lets him see every thing I search up ps I me and my dad have a smasnag) Help.

I'm having the same problem Dam it!!!! Men let's take our privacy back. Im a grown man i look at pictorials from time to time. What growñ man dont? I mean totally 100% legal. Nothing with kids or around in my own privacy space guess who sneek up to bathroom door. My loud mouth wife Stop looking at porn through the door. Now i just clicked on and seen the picture now wasn't even a min and she snooping. Why am I looking for another compressor What's wrong with the one in the garage I said **** how long you sit and have surveillance on me did i get a email? She said yea junk mail!!!! I'm fed up with the privacy issues with these phones. I respect others privacy way i was raised up i dont go through any woman purse ,phone, laptop, etc. even with they permission .everyone deserve the same respect and privacy. Looking at pictorials is not CHEATING women get off that springer crap pictorials are now digital and faster to browse no need to take the Playboy or penthouse,newspaper in the laboratory any suggestion s I'm listening
