Why can't i access Wi-fi or data on my Samsung Galaxy Duos phone?

I am not able to connect to my wifi network as it keeps telling me that the authentication failed. Although, the wifi key is correct as im connected to the same network on other devices in the house.

I can't even upgrade my OS as i can't connect to the internet.

Any thoughts? or Fixes???

Welcome to Android Central! Can you clarify--is it only wi-fi that is having problems, or wi-fi and mobile data (3G/4G)?
