The length of my password doesnt let me conect to my Wi-Fi LG L70

Ok, so today I bought a LG L70 and wanted to connect to my Wi-Fi, but after entering the password the "connect" button doesnt light up (it stay grey instead of black) it seems that the requiered characters to make it able to connect it's 5 and 13 characters, while my house password its 9 characters long, is there any way to make it able to input any lenght password?

EDITED: My local wi-fi it's WEP, and I have no issues connecting to networks using WPA/WPA2, so this seems to be an issue with WEP only.

As far as I'm aware, there is no specific amount of acceptable characters when connecting to WiFi networks.. Certainly not 5 characters or 13. Can you take a screen shot for reference?

I'm pretty sure the above post is correct. What happens when you enter the password and accept? Will it connect?

As you see it doesnt let me click the connect button, only when the length its 13 or 5 characters, thats for a WEP network, if I try to connect to a WPA2 SPK it allow me to enter more than 8 characters

1) The specs are:

For a 40 bit WEP network, always choose a 5-character password.
For a 128 bit WEP network, always choose a 13-character password.

The password (40 bits or 104 bits) then has a 24 bit random number added to it, to make a 64 bit or 128 bit passkey. (Why 64 bit is called 40 and 128 bit is called 128 is something I don't know, since I wasn't involved in the 802.11 standards.)

Some equipment allows you to enter any password, then hashes it to 5 or 13 characters, to allow it to work (it's called cheating). That's probably what your other equipment is doing. Evidently Android just follows the specs and requires a 5 or 13 character password.

2) WEP is about as secure as locking your door by "gluing" wet tissue paper over the crack between the frame and the door. It can be broken in about 30 seconds by a lot of available apps (and has been that insecure for almost 5 years now). About all it does is make people try to break into it. (Then they do things like connect to computers on the network and format drives - that's the same mentality that writes viruses.) Use at least WPA2/Personal. You want a lock, not an invitation.

I have the exact same issue that Erick mentioned.
So, is there anything I can do to connect my Wi-Fi?
