Help! Screen off, backlight @ 0% due to mishap with Battery Saver app

So every time I boot my hd2 up with froyo, I get to the HTC logo, but then the screen brightness setting kicks in and the screen goes dead. I can't get to the app without the screen working. Anyone have a workaround for this?
