Why hasn't my apps shown but my music yes?

I have a note 3, t mobile. I had a few apps installed to my sd card. my music and photos are installed to my sd card too. For reasons i won't get into i reset my phone to factory settings but before doing that i took out my sd card. When the phone was done the factory setting i put in the sd card and only my music and photos showed, why not my apps?

Because the links that moving the apps put into internal storage were reset. (Android looks for apps in internal storage. Moving an app to external storage leaves a link in internal storage pointing to where the app file is.) Move the apps to the SD card again, it'll rewrite the links.
