How can I add certain characters to Long press?

Long press - adding characters

The long press is well supplied with French of German letters: I also use Icelandic on occasion, and need the letters Þ and Ð. Is there a way to add these to the characters generated from the long press?

It depends on the keyboard you're using. SwiftKey, for instance, has an option to show all accented characters from your added languages at long-press. Some keyboards will only show those pertinent to the current language that is being used.
