Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 won't charge?

My tablet isn't charging. I put the charger in and it won't go all the way in. It's wiggly and I put tape on it to make it go in, but it's still loose. My battery is dead and has been for about a week. I need to charge it but it won't charge or turn on. I hold the charger in and push the power button but it doesn't come on. What can I do? Is there something wrong with the charger port or the charger? Help please!!

I agree. You could also try plugging another USB cable into the tablet--if that one also feels loose or doesn't seem to plug all the way in, then the problem is with the microUSB port. If the different USB cable works, then your original cable is broken.
