How to Remove Word Suggestions?

I just got my first android, the Nexus 6. I've mostly typed in Dutch, so I have Dutch word suggestions on my English keyboard. I just figured out I can add a Dutch keyboard, so I use that now when typing in Dutch.

I want to remove the Dutch word suggestions from my English keyboard, but I can't. The Dutch words are *NOT* in my personal dictionary. It doesn't autocorrect to them, but they show up as suggested words. Is there any way to get rid of them? Again, they are not in my personal dictionary. My personal dictionary is empty!

I have a similar problem with English & French. My solution is to use the Swiftkey keyboard instead of Google. Swiftkey has settings whether you want to type in one language at a time or two, so you control whether to combine or separate.
