I'm using this on my G3 and it is phenomenal! It works just like Motorola's Active Display no root required. How many times do you take your phone out of your pocket just to glance at the time or notifications? Now you can do it without powering on the phone, the screen just illuminates for a few seconds. The screenshot below shows what it looks like when you pull it from your pocket (the star is a test notification I sent from the app and the other is the screenshot notification). Then it works just like the Moto X. Touch the icon to glance at more info, tap directly into the corresponding app, swipe the notification away or just unlock the phone. This one is with your time!!

Without powering on? Or without turning the screen on? There's a huge difference.

ACDisplay is nice, but it's just a lockscreen, the phone still has to be powered on for ACDisplay to run.

Reminds me a lot of Nokia Glance on my former Windows phone, a feature I really liked.

Posted via the Android Central App on my bodaciously awesome Note 4!
