I am just tring to figure out if there is a way to set the backlight to stay on all the time when you are placing a call. I am tired of shaking the device or turning the power switch off and on all the time just to end a call. I apoligize if this a stupid question but i am fairly new to this device and am in the hospital so dont have time to read every posting. Thanks for any help possible.

There isn't a way of doing that in the phone settings but there could be a application in the market that would keep the screen on. The downfall for having the screen on you could bump the end call button with your face.
