port scan says ...

Just out of curiosity I just ran nmap against my new EVO while Wi-Fi was enabled. It reported the following:

Port       State       Service
21/tcp     open        ftp
25/tcp     filtered    smtp

I got an immediate disconnect from the ftp port (though it did connect). Connection attempts to the SMTP port just hung.

I can't see any reason either of these ports needs to be present. What am I missing? Can I close them off somehow?
