Why can't I delete a wifi that says open?

why can't I delete a wi fi that says open

When I go to my wi fi and connect to my home wi fi. It comes up with cisco wi fi that says open. Even when I forget it,it still doesn't go away. Why?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean you're forgetting the network? If you forget the network, and then turn on wi-fi at home, it will still detect the network and list it as available, just like any nearby network. Is it showing up even if you're away from home?
