Exchange ActiveSync and Text Messages

I use my Note 4 for work e-mail via Exchange. I noticed that the "sync text messages" option was selected on my phone under the Exchange settings, and saw that incoming SMS messages were in my corporate Exchange inbox. I de-selected and solved.

Does this feature sync my outgoing text messages from the phone or just incoming text messages??? Do they store in archive on Exchange?

To the best of my knowledge, only Incoming messages are synced to your Inbox. Sent messages only stay in your Exchange server if sent directly from Outlook (if set up to do so).

Anyone else? Exchange isn't showing these SMS notifications from my Note 4 on our archive system. Why?
