Re: mass delete of my gmail files

Hello. Welcome to Android Central.

This has been the third such question in recent days. B. Diddy answered, I think, that there doesn't seem to be, and I couldn't find it either.

I found there is actually one (in plain site) on the pc desktop site.

Even the 'desktop' view on Chrome's mobile browser, via the bottom 'desktop' link, not via Chrome settings, brings up a mini version of the full website and it isn't there.

So on the full page you are looking for the 3 oblong boxes upper left above the inbox.
Square tab, Refresh and More.
The square (select) tab comes with a dropdown list.

So I think you would need to delete/select /move all via the full pc desktop site that I don't think Gmail allows on any mobile browser, except maybe a tablet.

Someone's going to shoot this down now, I just know it.

Re: mass delete of my gmail files

Some email apps have a 'Select all' function so emptying a mailbox is easy. AquaMail and Mailroid do, probably many others. In AquaMail it's switchable where 'Select all' can mean just all the mail that you see on the screen or actually all mail in the mailbox.

Android since v1.0. Linux user since 2001.
