How to attach images to forum posts to be viewed at a smaller size?

I wanted to attach a screenshot of just the share icon on my phone to a new post to AC. I want to post it directly such that when I view it in the posting, it is much smaller than the example image attached here:

share-icon.jpg

Is there a way to somehow "shrink" the image after I post it here, or give the ATTACH directive[SUP]1[/SUP] some sizing options, or "shrink" it on the phone prior to uploading it? I don't want to have to use a desktop image editing program to reduce the size if I can at all help it.

Thanks,

[SUP]1[/SUP]If this is documented somewhere, then perhaps there needs to be a small "?" icon on the page that directs to a syntax help for these directives, such as ATTACH, for submitting new threads so that we could find the answer directly.

Ooh, very nice use of a footnote! I don't think I've ever seen that here.:)

I've always had to resize an image before uploading it if necessary--I wasn't able to find an automatic resizing option.

Fair enough. I'll have to figure out a way to resize it before posting. Samsung has this Photo Editor app but it seems to be buggy (just up and exits when I try to do anything with it). And it doesn't show up in my apps list; only when I click on a .png file from ES File Explorer.
