New Apps Not Always Showing Up In Google Playstore

I tend to 'research' new apps to install from my desktop PC (much easier/faster to search/read the reviews for multiple apps that serve the same purpose, etc.,).

But, on occasion, when I decide upon a new app, and go to my device's Google Playstore, and search for it (by name), it doesn't show up. I always check what version of Android that I'm running when I select a new app, and I'm current for the app.

Why does this happen?

Sometimes the developer of an app is having an issue or for whatever reasons the play store app doesn't find the apps you want. It's one of those things.
