Why won't my pin work? How can I recover it?

Please help my pin won't work!

I was prompted to change my pin 1-2 days ago. Changed my battery tonight and now I cannot get in at all. Says try again and stays locked. I can't stand the clicking noise it is giving me to prompt me to enter a pin that it won't recognize...old pin doesn't work and restart or power off useless too!

Worst case - bring the phone, with a photo ID showing that you're the owner of the account the phone is on, to the carrier, and they'll unlock it for you.
