keep getting Single Sign On (SSO) errors, google says I need to update SNS but cannot find it

Galaxy S5, Facebook stopped syncing photos.
Went to settings --> accounts --> facebook --> enable sync checkbox.
I get the error "Unable to single sign-on (SSO) with Facebook at this time".

google search says I should update my SNS.
This can apparently be done under an app called "Galaxy Apps".
There is no Galaxy App anywhere in my apps list.
There's no SNS app or service either.

I did clear cache, clear data, uninstall Facebook, and then reinstall facebook, and my photos (maybe not all of them?) apparently synced. So I guess that problem is solved.
But the SSO error bugs me and I want to fix it. Where is this SNS thing hiding?
