I'm needing a phone for an ederly person who has trouble with vision. This "easy mode" on my new device seems like it would work. Is this an Android thing available on all Android devices, or is it just a Samsung thing? Would theGalaxy Ace 4 Lite DUOS have this easy-mode feature?

It's an OEM thing. This is not on Vanilla Android (what's found on say a Nexus). The LG G4 has an Easy mode (or similar) I didn't really look at it, but I know it's there.

Toss up. I would assume no.

However, in theory, the easy mode in Samsung is just a simplified version of the stock launcher. I found a few from Play:
Wiser: https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...apps/details?id=com.wiser.home&token=J4JQNxId

Necta: https://forums.androidcentral.com/e.../details?id=com.necta.launcher&token=ltJWoWgk

BIG launcher (paid): https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...unes.android.launcher.activity&token=V5WJ88FX

I have no experience with any of these. The good thing about launchers is you can load them in your phone and test them. Even have the loved one in question try them for a while. If they like it or hate it, all you do is uninstall it, and the device should prompt for a new launcher default (if by chance you set the test one as default).
