Why can't I restore my phone or go into recovery?

Cannot restore my phone or go into recovery.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Exhibit SGH-T599N which is running CM 12.1. This started happening yesterday. When I try to reboot into recovery mode, it shows a static screen and reboots normally. So then I tried restoring from the settings but it does the same exact thing. Also my phone sometime crashes and then shows a black screen with red numbers and letters in the top left corner. Please help.

Try flashing a new recovery image on to the phone. See if that gets you in to recovery mode.
